THE BOYS will be onsite at Camp Big Timber in Elgin, Il on Saturday, November 15, 2025 and Sunday, November 16, 2025 for two days of hands on learning.

Saturday, November 15th will be a full day workshop that will focus on more challenging training concepts.  Some of the concepts that will be covered are:  TBD

 Each of our facilitators will spend time with your team working level appropriate searches and giving your team one on one advice that you can bring to your next trial or training session.   Your team will spend time with each facilitator throughout the day.   You will get multiple runs with each facilitator with your dog.

 

Sunday, November 16Th will feature mock trial searches.  These will be set up in NACSW format and your team will run at least one search area with each facilitator. These are searches that will help your team gain confidence and experience.   We will offer at least one search with each facilitator.  Search areas will be weather dependent. If weather permits, we may add outside elements.  All teams are welcome regardless of what venue you are showing in!  Odors used will be Anise, Birch and Clove.   The day will be run in blocks of: NW1, NW2, NW3, and Elite.  You will receive a schedule of arrival time closer to event day.  This is not an all day event.  You will come and run your searches and then you are free to leave!   This is an invaluable training opportunity to work with actual NACSW judges and gain trial venue and search exposure.
